As your County Commissioner, I’m working hard to make sure our local businesses are getting the support they need and ensuring employees safely get back to work. The health of Palm Beach County’s people and economy depend on it.

Recently, the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners approved an additional $20 million in CARES Act Restart Business Grants for businesses previously excluded and not required to close due to state and/or county executive orders. Grants up to $15,000 (offset by other grants or forgivable loans) will be available to an expanded list of eligible businesses impacted by COVID-19 that were not eligible before.

The program will resume taking applications today, Monday October, 26th at 8 a.m. and close on Monday, November, 2nd at 5:00 p.m.

Nonprofit agencies, 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(19), are also eligible for grants through the county’s CARES Act funding. Health and Human Services and Veterans Organizations will be prioritized, but other agencies may be considered for funding if available. Applications are open now until November, 30th at 11:59 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd. We need to elect leaders who will keep moving our community forward without leaving anyone behind. I’ve got your back, and I’m asking for your vote.
